Hang out with youth and
have fun! We always need adult and teen volunteers to help with our
activities. High School age teens are very welcome to volunteer, especially for
community service requirements. Volunteer opportunities include after school
supervision, and more. Adults are also encouraged to be Youth Commission
advisors and help with community service activities.
Haunted House Volunteers:
Creative Volunteers ages 12 and up are needed to help in every
aspect of our fall project. Volunteers can assists with design,
acting, coaching, supervision, kitchen help, security, concessions
and more!
Program Intern: Internships are
available for College students in the fields of education, social
work, or related fields. Interns will assist program coordinators in
planning and facilitating arts and crafts projects, leadership
activities, academic tutoring, and counseling groups. Possible
stipends and/or college credit available.
Community Service: We have a few
slots open for youth in need of community service hours for
court/social services or school credit. Tasks can include cleaning
and maintenance at the teen center, and some projects at
charities/agencies within the community.
Center Handy-Person: We are
always in need of adult assistance with construction and maintenance
projects such as equipment repair, changing furnace filters,
painting/spackling, etc. Must be over 18, and detail oriented.
